Nikki Law - Owner/Nail Technician
Becoming a licensed manicurist in 2005, the passion Nikki has for the nail industry shows in her work and her loyal cliental. Always wanting to further her knowledge and education Nikki takes hundreds of hours of continuing education yearly. Always wanting to offer her clients the best products, the best service and the very best experience when they come to Polished on Main is what drives Nikki.
In 2020 Nikki began teaching other aspiring nail technicians. Her patience, knowledge, and years in the industry comes through with the nail technicians she has had the privilege in teaching. Wanting to keep the excellent standard of what this industry is, Nikki makes sure that everyone she teaches has the same passion she has for the nail industry.
Betsey Selewski - Manager
Betsey is a Harbor Springs native and the Salon Manager at Polished on Main. Working behind the scenes, she helps keep the salon organized, connected, and running smoothly. She oversees salon operations, scheduling, marketing, and client communication while supporting the team in their day-to-day work.
Outside of Polished, Betsey loves spending time with her husband, and their daughter, Scottie and dog, Mack. She enjoys reading, being outside near the water, and settling into their new home. Her creativity and love for organization carry into just about everything she does.

Lindsey Cooper - Esthetician/Nail Technician
Lindsey is a passionate esthetician and nail technician, born and raised in Harbor Springs. With a commitment to continuous growth, she has dedicated countless hours to advancing her skills, becoming certified in body sugaring, henna brows, lash extensions, and more. Lindsey specializes in advanced skincare techniques, delivering personalized facials that achieve optimal results for her clients.
As a nail technician, she focuses on enhancing the natural beauty of nail, providing flawless polish and meticulous care. Lindsey is deeply committed to helping clients feel their best by offering high-quality, personalized treatments to every client.
Jessica Cannon - Nail Technician
Born and raised in the beautiful landscapes of Northern Michigan, Jessica has always been inspired by the natural beauty around her. After completing a six-month apprenticeship at Polished on Main, she honed her craft and developed a deep passion for nails. Jessica's warm and kind personality shines through in her work, as she focuses on creating a genuine connection with each client, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for.
Specializing in natural nails, Jessica's attention to detail results in flawless polish and long-lasting finishes that leave her clients feeling confident and pampered. She is also certified in LCN Toenail Reconstruction and Dazzle dry, further showcasing her dedication to offering the best nail care and innovation.
Stephanie Sevener - Nail Technician
Born and raised on the charming town of Petoskey, Michigan, Stephanie brings a unique blend of creativity and expertise to the beauty industry.
Her artistic eye and love for design seamlessly translated into her work in the beauty industry. With a keen attention to detail, Stephanie prides herself on connecting with each client, ensuring that their experience is personalized and truly special. Lexi Toorman - Nail Technician
Lexi is a talented and passionate nail artist at Polished on Main. With an eye for detail and a natural artistic flair, she has quickly set herself apart in the nail industry. Anishka Pop - Nail Technician/Esthetician
Aniska graduated from the prestigious Douglas J Aveda Institute in 2017, completing both cosmetology and the esthetician program in 2018. Since then, she has been dedicated to perfecting her craft with continuing education to ensure top notch services for skincare, nails and makeup.
Throughout her career she has had training working with a variety of premium brands including Aveda, Eminence Organic Skin Care, Natyropathica, Biologique Recherché, Dazzle Dry, CND, and Spa Rituals.
Jasmin Niersel - Nail Technician/Henna Artist
Jasmin, originally from Harbor Springs, found her way to Daytona Beach, Florida, where her passion for creativity truly blossomed. After discovering her love for Henna tattooing, she realized the power of artistic expression and decided to pursue a career that would allow her to showcase her skills. This led her to Polished on Main, where she completed a six-month apprenticeship to become a nail technician. With an eagerness to always learn and grow, Jasmin combines her artistic talent with the technical knowledge she's gained, providing clients with exceptional, personalized nail services. Her dedication to her craft and passion for artistry makes her the perfect addition to Polished on Main.
Grace Davidson - Nail Technician
Grace has always had a deep passion for the beauty industry, starting her journey as a cosmetology student. Her love for nails in particular, allowed her to express her artistic creativity in way that she felt fulfilling. To develop her skills, Grace pursued a six-month apprenticeship, where she honed her craft. After completing her apprenticeship, she became a licensed nail technician and proudly joined the team at Polished on Main. Grace thrives on continuing her education and constantly pushing the boundaries of her creativity to deliver unique and stunning nail designs.
Kaylie Hall - Nail Technician
Kaylie Hall is a licensed nail technician who joined the Polished on Main team after completing her apprenticeship in 2026. She has a passion for creativity, natural nail care, and helping every guest feel confident while enjoying a calm, relaxing experience. Kaylie especially loves providing pedicures, incorporating soothing massage, and creating beautiful nails that leave clients feeling refreshed and cared for. She is continuing to grow her skills in structured manicures and polygel while learning alongside the talented team at Polished on Main. Originally from Albion, Michigan, Kaylie enjoys spending Northern Michigan summers with her fiancé, their English Chocolate Lab, Moxxie, and her stepdaughter, Charlotte. Outside the salon, you'll often find her taking a walk or enjoying a matcha latte.
Zira Akbar - Nail Technician
Zira began her journey at Polished on Main as a nail apprentice, completing her training under Nikki before becoming a licensed nail technician. Known for her quiet, funny personality and perfectionist nature, Zira brings patience and attention to detail to her work. She is excited to continue expanding her skills, especially with full sets and nail art, while creating beautiful, personalized nails for each client.
A leap year baby and lover of Northern Michigan summers, Zira enjoys spending time at the beach and grabbing a matcha with cold foam. While she may seem quiet at first, once the conversation starts, she loves to talk and connect with her clients. She looks forward to continuing to grow as a nail technician and building relationships with both her clients and the Polished on Main team.
